The Shop
Mike’s Foreign Auto opened its doors in 1980 — first in Hermosa Beach, on the corner of Aviation and Prospect, before moving to its current home on Artesia Boulevard in Redondo Beach. Over forty-five years later, the shop is still here, still family-owned, still doing the same honest work that built its reputation.
Word spread the way it does when someone does honest work at a fair price. Slowly, and then all at once. The Mercedes owners came first — people with older models that dealerships had stopped caring about. Then the BMW and Audi owners. Then everyone else. Within a few years, the shop had more cars in the lot than parking spaces.
What We Specialize In
German cars are at the heart of everything we do — Mercedes-Benz above all, but BMW, Audi, and Volkswagen are right alongside. Our founder Mike has been working on these cars since the early 1960s. That depth of knowledge is what sets us apart.
We also welcome all foreign makes and models. If it needs a mechanic, bring it in. The same transparent pricing, the same personal attention, the same standards.
