Accept the offer and we handle the rest. The process is quick, transparent, and designed to respect your time.
How We Value Your Vehicle
What Determines a Fair Offer
Because we are a repair shop with close to seventy years of hands-on experience, we evaluate vehicles differently than a typical dealer or online buyer. We look at the whole picture, and that perspective often works in your favor.
Mileage and overall condition. Lower mileage generally means higher value, but condition matters just as much. A well-maintained 200,000-mile Mercedes turbodiesel can be worth more than a neglected car with half the miles. We look at paint, interior, undercarriage, and overall presentation.
Service history. A documented maintenance history adds real value. If you have kept records of oil changes, timing chain services, transmission flushes, or any major work, bring them along. Cars with verifiable service records from reputable shops command stronger offers because they represent lower risk and higher long-term reliability.
Mechanical soundness. Our mechanics inspect the engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. A car that runs well and needs minimal work will naturally command a better offer. Even if your vehicle needs some repairs, we factor in what we can handle in-house, which often means we can still make a competitive offer where others might pass.
Market demand. Certain models are always in demand. We track current market values for European and foreign vehicles and factor that into every offer. If your car is a sought-after model, that demand is reflected in our price.
Classics We Are Always Looking For
Models That Command Premium Offers
While we buy all foreign makes and models, certain classic and vintage vehicles are especially interesting to us. These are the cars we know best, the ones we have been repairing and maintaining for over four decades, and the ones our customers ask about most.
Mercedes-Benz classics: W123 sedans and wagons (240D, 300D, 300TD), W126 S-Class and SEC coupes (380SE, 420SEL, 560SEL, 560SEC), R107 SL roadsters (280SL, 380SL, 450SL, 560SL), W124 sedans and the legendary 500E, and W116 models including the 450SEL 6.9. Well-preserved examples of these models are becoming increasingly collectible.
BMW classics: E30 3 Series (especially the 325i and 325is), E28 5 Series, E24 6 Series coupes, and E34 M5. Air-cooled Porsche 911s and early Boxsters are also of strong interest.
Volkswagen and Audi: Air-cooled VW Beetles and Buses, early GTIs, and classic Audi models like the Ur-Quattro. These cars have passionate followings and we are always interested in clean examples.
If you have a classic European car that you are considering selling, please reach out even if it is a project car or needs work. We often see value in cars that others might underestimate.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common Questions About Selling Your Car
Do I need to fix anything before selling my car to you?
You do not need to make any repairs before bringing your car to us. Because we are a full-service repair shop, we handle all reconditioning in-house. Whether your car needs new brakes, an engine service, or cosmetic attention, we factor those costs into our evaluation and still make a fair offer. Bring your car as it is, and we will take it from there.
How quickly can I get an offer?
Most vehicles receive an offer the same day. For straightforward evaluations, the inspection takes about 30 to 60 minutes. If the vehicle requires a more detailed mechanical assessment, we may need a bit more time, but we always aim to respect your schedule and communicate clearly about timing.
Will you buy a car that is not running?
Yes. We buy vehicles in all conditions, including those that are not currently running. Classic Mercedes-Benz and BMW models, even in project-car condition, can still hold significant value. Give us a call to describe your vehicle and we will let you know if it is something we are interested in. In many cases, we can arrange to come see the car at your location.
What paperwork do I need to sell my car?
You will need your vehicle title (pink slip) and a valid photo ID. If you have maintenance records, the original window sticker, or any documentation related to the car’s history, bring those along as well. They can help us better assess the vehicle and may contribute to a stronger offer. We handle all the necessary DMV paperwork to make the transaction as simple as possible for you.
